Just found and altered a recipe for coarse rolls with light cheese and slices of smoked chicken and I can't wait to try it out.
Changed the fine flour to whole wheat and rye, and butter to healthy vegetable oil of canola.
Adding light cheese instead of fatty cheese and smoked chicken instead of normal ham, brought the calories for each roll down from 254 calories to 170 calories each.
And they are now stuffed with fibers and healthy stuff .
Almost went straight to the kitchen, but then looked at the clock.... half past eleven in the evening is perhaps not the right time to start baking.
